Ceramic Coating
After Care Instructions
Congratulations on protecting your vehicle with a professional-grade ceramic coating from Glosswerks TX. To ensure your coating performs at its peak and remains compliant with warranty terms, please read and follow the care instructions below.
Initial Curing Period (First 7 Days):
Avoid washing the vehicle. The coating is still curing and any interference may affect durability and gloss.
Keep the vehicle away from sprinklers, bird droppings, and sap. If contamination occurs, gently blot the area with a clean, damp microfiber towel—do not rub.
Do not apply waxes, sealants, or any other products.
General Care Guidelines (Ongoing):
To preserve coating performance and warranty coverage, Glosswerks TX must perform maintenance detailing at least once every 6 months. This ensures proper inspection, decontamination, and hydrophobic restoration using coating-safe products.
If you choose to have your vehicle washed or serviced elsewhere:
Ensure they use pH-neutral soaps only.
Touchless or hand washes only — no automatic brushes.
No clay bars, polishing, or waxes unless authorized by Glosswerks TX.
Do not allow use of harsh chemicals, degreasers, or drying towels that are not microfiber.
Improper care or third-party use of abrasive tools, harsh chemicals, or unapproved services may void your warranty.
DIY Maintenance
While we understand the appeal of at-home care, ceramic coatings require specific tools, techniques, and products to maintain integrity. We do not recommend attempting to maintain or “refresh” the coating on your own. Without professional inspection, you may unknowingly compromise the coating’s performance.
